Byron Kinesiology Centre

At our Centre, we believe in self-help. We offer a range of sessions, classes, courses and products to help people learn how to take care of their own health, and that of their family and friends.

Faculty, please customise this sample content to suit your college. Be sure to mention the unique selling points that make your college a great place to learn PKP and keep it focused on the benefits to the students who study at your college.

Here at Byron Kinesiology Centre we offer training to level __ Kinesiopractic® and we start with PKP’s™ Energisers and Self Care unit, BKP 101. We know that to help others learn, grow and embrace life to the full, we must also be taking care of ourselves.

In BKP 101 you will have fun with three different energy boosting techniques using self-energiser trigger points (NEs, NVs & NLs) and the powerful meridian energiser trace. You will also learn vision and hearing techniques, the walking gait energising reflexes, and crosscrawl self integration.

You can then use these easy techniques to help others, first with family and friends and later with clients, along with ESR (a powerful emotional stress release technique) and emotional trigger words.

You will love the energising power of a specific goal, and the ability to perform a ‘time of day’ kinesiology energy balance on yourself using whole body testing.

The Byron Kinesiology Centre was founded in 1986 by Parijat Wismer and her husband, Veda Turner. It’s a place where people can be supported toward more abundant health and energy, in their recovery from illness, and in the healing of emotional and physical pain. Workshops and seminars which offer Kinesiology and Natural Health skills are a major part of the centre’s focus.

Over the past 25 years, the Byron Kinesiology Centre has developed a reputation for running practical, useful courses. In 2011 and 2012, Parijat will continue this trend, offering: Self-help courses that empower you to make the changes needed to be happier, healthier and more in charge of your life and your future.

The professional courses are of the highest standard in Australia.

We operate from Parijat and Veda’s home in Byron Bay, unless we have classes with more than 18 students. Parijat is the main practitioner and instructor, supported by Veda, who runs the office and helps people with the nutritional and herbal supplements that enhance and support the Kinesiology balances. Simonne Paritosho Rowe joined out team in 2006. She assists and co-teaches the basic BKP Series.

After completing a training in ‘Health, Vitality and Longevity’ in 1998, we were pleased to be able to introduce The Australian Wellness Centre. This incorporates the Byron Kinesiology Centre activities.

The Australian Wellness Centre includes activities such as testing and assessing the health status of clients as it relates to their age, fitness and energy, giving special advice to slow down the aging progress. With this new approach, you can get older with minimal deterioration of physical and mental health and wellness.

On Dec 16 1998 we celebrated the first official graduation of students who were qualified to register as level one (250 hours of Kinesiology training in approved courses) and level two (500 hours of courses) practitioners with the Australian Kinesiology Association. Since then, we are proud to have held a number of other graduations.

We joined forces with other Internationally Qualified Instructors in 2003 and created Kinesiology Schools Australia. We run the Byron Bay Campus and team up with the Brisbane School to teach on the Gold Coast.
