Rowena Ritchie in Dubai to teach FAC 1 with Dr Bruce Dewe, 2018
A special friend, trusted colleague, Senior Faculty Trainer, mentor to many students, Rowena has been part of our PKP family since the 1990s and ICPKP Faculty since 2000.
It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Ro, whose life was cut short by a brief illness after she returned from a special retreat in France last year.
Rowena was co-founder of one of Australia’s largest ICPKP Affiliated Colleges. She contributed to the research and development of PKP and her Specific Dyslexia Area Stacking Balance is included in PIB 301, our advanced unit on Brain Integration.
Ro taught her last FAC 1 class in January 2025. She has always encouraged her graduates in their teaching.
In 2018 she co-taught FAC 1 with Dr Dewe in Dubai to a large group of students. Bruce and Rowena took turns leading and supporting each other.
Bruce and Joan greatly respected Rowena. Together they shared many ups and downs, personal balances and mutual support over the last 25 years.
We last shared a meal with Rowena in Melbourne in May 2025. We talked together about hope and dreams and plans for the future.
